Bio:
Iyke Okenyi was born in Umahia, Abia state, Nigeria. He studied at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he obtained both Bachelor and Masters degree in sculpture in 1995 and 2001 respectively. Iyke Okenyi has been exploring unconventional applications of materials and techniques to create innovative works of art. He has taken part in several exhibitions globally including 10th International contemporary art exhibition, Japan, 2001, Akrane Africa Exhibition, Casablanca, 2019, amongst others.
